Add External APT Repositories on Debian with extrepo

On Debian (and derivatives), adding a third-party APT repository means fetching a GPG key, writing a .list or .sources file, and hoping the URL doesn’t rot. extrepo handles all of that.

sudo apt install extrepo

Usage

# List available repositories
extrepo search

# Enable a repository (adds key + source)
sudo extrepo enable sury

# Disable it (removes key + source)
sudo extrepo disable sury
